Join us on Halloween night (Thursday, October 31) for a spooky and magical wheel-throwing experience at Heart Pottery Studios!

Step into a dimly lit space filled with candlelight, mystical music, and witchy energy the perfect way to celebrate Halloween creatively.

During this guided session, you’ll craft your own round pottery pieces on the wheel such as pumpkin-inspired bowls, moon dishes, or mini cauldrons.

Our instructors will guide you step by step, no experience needed🎃

We’ll provide everything you need: clay, tools, aprons, and a warm Halloween drink to set the mood.
Come dressed up if you’d like there will be a fun little prize for the best costume!🧙‍♀️✨

You may create multiple pieces and add extras for $10 each.

Pickup Information:

Your finished pieces will be glazed and fired by our team.
You’ll receive an email once they’re ready for pickup,approximately 3–4 weeks after the event.
Please pick up your work within 2 weeks of notification to ensure safe storage uncollected items will be recycled after that time.

• Please avoid long nails and short skirts or dresses pottery can be messy!
• No outside drinks or food are allowed.

✨ Workshop Details:
Step into the spooky spirit of Halloween with clay in your hands! In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll explore fun handbuilding techniques to create your own spooky-inspired piece. Some ideas include:
-Mini Ghosts (decor figures or tealight holders)
-Haunted Lanterns (glow with candles inside)
-Monster Mugs (fun, scary or quirky designs with eyes, teeth, textures)
-Bat or Pumpkin trays (perfect for candy or Halloween décor)
Bring your imagination whether spooky or playful, the result will be uniquely yours!

• -Keep 1 finished piece (glazed and fired by us).

In Turkey, women get together periodically to mingle. These gatherings include food, hospitality and gold or money! It’s called “Altin Gunu”.

During these meetups, women bring gold coins or money to the host. Hosting rotates among members, allowing each one to save while bonding. It’s a joyful way to save money while enjoying time with friends and food.

As Lokum Eats and Heart Pottery, we want to introduce this collective tradition to you. A themed menu inspired by Turkish Altin Guns has been created for this event. While enjoying the food and drinks, you’ll be guided through ceramic making by Gardiner Museum’s Hatice Erdogan.

Will our mugs be glazed and fired?
Yes, we will fire and glaze all pieces to make them food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.

Can we paint the mugs during the workshop?
Yes! We will provide underglaze paints during the session.

Can we take home the mugs on the same day?
No. The full ceramic process takes time. After creating and painting your mugs, we will handle drying, first firing, glazing, final firing, and wrapping. You’ll be notified via email when your piece is ready for pickup.
